Jemilat Lamidi
Community Health Worker
My journey into the healthcare field began after I became a mother to my first daughter. Before transitioning to healthcare, I worked for several years as a Finance and Treasury Officer. During my pregnancy, the exceptional care I received from healthcare staff inspired me to pursue a career where I could provide similar care and support to others, particularly women facing similar challenges.
This passion led me to become a community support worker, then a Nursing Assistant, and now a community health worker. I also hold a post-degree diploma in Business Administration and am currently studying to become a qualified Health Care Assistant.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time at home with my family. I am a proud mother of two beautiful daughters, and I find joy in creating dresses for them, styling their hair, baking in the kitchen, and simply embracing motherhood. While I am not very outgoing, I enjoy occasional trips for shopping or simple outings with my family.
