Community Infant Feeding Centre

If you are experiencing any of the following concerns you may benefit from a visit at our clinic:

  • Shallow latch
  • Low milk supply
  • Pain with latching
  • Pain between feeds
  • Clogged ducts
  • Mastitis
  • Oversupply
  • Fast letdown
  • Slow infant weight gain
  • Tongue tie

Our team of Lactation Consultants (who also work as either Registered Nurses or Registered Midwives) can offer lactation and feeding support visits covered by MSP for the first 6 weeks following delivery. You will need a referral from a Doctor/Nurse Practitioner or a nurse for this service. If you continue to have feeding challenges beyond 6 weeks postpartum you can self-refer to our program. In this case, MSP coverage doesn’t apply so you would pay $150 for a one-hour visit. You can call our clinic or email us to get more information, book an appointment or access the referral form to give to your doctor or Nurse Practitioner. We look forward to meeting you!
