Stefi completed her bachelor degree in Midwifery at UBC’s department of Family Practice. She has been a midwife at South since she graduated from UBC in 2019. Prior to becoming a midwife she worked as a doula for many years here at South as well! Originally from Venezuela, Stefi is passionate about providing culturally safe care to families from different backgrounds and works with many Latin-American families and new immigrants. She speaks Spanish and French and feels right at home within the diverse South Community team. She has 2 boys of her own and when not at work she loves to travel the world with her family. She also enjoys camping, hiking and all things outdoors.
