I am originally from Vancouver Island but moved over to Vancouver 12 years ago to attend UBC. I received my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and it was then that I decided I wanted to become a nurse, specifically in maternal and infant nursing. I went back to school at UBC and received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012 and have been working in labour and delivery and post partum for just over three years now. In my spare time I like to travel, particularly to Africa where I have been lucky enough to have visited 10 different countries there. I also love to ski, snowshoe, hike and play volleyball. I am so excited to be a part of the South Community Birth Program team and I look forward to meeting all of you!
